CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com This is the intermediate level Turbulence Training workout B. You will begin with the warm-up for the intermediate level and then begin your first superset with dumbbell squats and stability ball rollouts, which is a difficult abdominal exercise. So, for the db squats, hold the dumbbells at your sides at arm’s length with your feetslightly wider than shoulder width apart. Next, you will squat to parallel and then push back up while keeping your chest and head up. Be sure to keep your shoulder blades together and have a nice proud posture at all times for 8 repetitions. Move quickly over the stability ball rollout. To get in position for this exercise, begin by kneeling on a mat with the ball close to you and your hands down low on the ball. With your abs braced, rollout, stretching the abdominals, and roll back in. So, as you go out, keep your body in a straight line and feel the stretch and then contract your abs to come back up. Be conservative and only go out as far as you feel comfortable. You will perform all repetitions of this exercise and then rest for one minute and repeat the superset 2 more times for a total of 3 supersets. In the second superset of workout B, you will do a dumbbell reverse lunge which is like a split squat and pair that with a side plank. For the reverse lunge, hold the dumbbells at your side and step backwards, bend your front knee and drop your hips straight down, keeping the back

ABS SUPER SET

CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com Here is another lower body and abdominal superset to try out. In this superset you will pair dumbbell Romanian Deadlift with the stability ball Jackknife. If you’d like you can add this superset to another lower body superset, or you can do it just on its own and get it done in only 5 minutes. For the Romanian deadlift you will grab a set of dumbbells and place them in front of your thighs, with a slight bend in the knees. Next, slide the DBs down in front of your thighs and shins, pushing your hamstrings back as you go. You will feel a strong stretch in your hams while you go down, and then squeeze your butt to come back up. Choose a weight you can do for 8-12 reps. As soon as you’re done the deadlift set, go immediately into the stability ball jackknife exercise. For this exercise, place your elbows on a bench, your feet on a ball, and be sure to keep your back in a straight line with your abs braced. Next, bringyour knees into your chest and then back out. Repeat 15 times. Once you’ve finished the superset, rest for one minute and then repeat two more times for a total of three supersets. On its own or combined with a lower body/abs workout, this superset will help you get six-pack abs in just a few short weeks. Visit Turbulence Training to get your FREE sample fat burning workout. 6 MINUTE ABS SUPERSETS

22

CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com This is the third system of 6-minute abs, and in it you will do two sets of supersets, two times each. To start out, you’ll do a side plank for 20 seconds on each side. For proper form, position your body in a straight line with your hips forward. When switching sides be sure to try and limit the rest period as much as possible. Immediately after the plank exercise go directly into stability ball rollout for five repetitions. So, with your knees on a mat, and your hands out in front on the ball, roll the ball out, stretching your abs, and then contract your abs to bring the ball back in. For this exercise you want to ensure your back is straight at all times. Now you will rest for 30 seconds and then go back and repeat the superset one more time. Once you’ve finished the first superset you’ll start the next set with the bird dog exercise. So, kneeling with your hands on the ground, you will raise the opposite arm and leg, holding the top position for 3 seconds. Then slowly bring back in and switch sides. Do this for six repetition per side. The second exercise of this last superset is the X-body mountain climber. From the push up position, you will then bring your knee across your body to your opposite elbow, back out and then switch sides. Once again, when you have completed all the reps for the mountain climber, take a 30 second rest and then do the superset one last time.Visit Turbulence Training to get your

CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com Here is a legs and abs superset that will help you get six-pack abs. The first exercise is a dumbbell Split Squat. So, bring one leg back in a slightly larger step than normal and hold both dumbbells at your sides. This exercise is similar to the lunge except that you will be stationary and not step back. With your chest up,drop your hips straight down, bringing your knee to just above the floor. Next, use your lead leg glutes, hamstrings, and quadriceps – to drive back up. Do all 8 reps for one side, and then switch sides. Immediately from here you will go into a stability ball Rollout. To do this exercise, kneel down on a mat with your arms outstretched on a stability ball out in front. Next, roll the ball out, stretching your abs and keeping your body in a straight line, and then contract your abs to roll the ball back in. Repeat for 10 repetitions. Once you’ve completed the superset, rest one minute and then repeat two more times for a total of three supersets. If you want, then you can add this superset to a lower body and abs workout or you can do it just on its own for 5 minutes and it’s a great way to boost your metabolism and help you get six-pack abs. BODYWEIGHT EXERCISES – PLANK and BIRD DOG

13

CLICK HERE FOR A FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com Today you will learn of three basic exercises that will help your abdominal endurance and low back health. These exercises are the plank, the side plank, and the bird dog exercise. Now, I want to be honest and say that these three abdominal exercises are not the most exciting to do. They won’t give you that classic burning sensation in your abs that leaves you feeling like you’ve really worked them hard. However, these three are the safest and probably the most important to do when first starting to work out to prevent you from low back injury. Dr. Stuart McGill, a researcher in Canada, has done extensive research on low back pain and has concluded that individuals who have a lot of endurance in their abdominals tend to have less chance of sustaining an injury to the low back. The great thing about each of these three exercises is because no equipment is required you can do them in your own home. Also, because these are endurance exercises, you can do them every day. So, the first exercise is the Plank. To do this, rest your elbows on a mat, and place your body in a straight line. Brace your abs and try to work up to where you can hold that position for 2-3 minutes straight. If right now, you can only do the plank for 20 seconds, then each day try to add a couple seconds. Alternatively, you can hold for 10 seconds, rest for 1 second and do that 6-7 times. The next exercise is the Side Plank. This time, position
